BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana men's golf finished Saturday's day one of the Hoosier Collegiate Invitational in second place, led by junior Harry Reynolds who is tied for fifth place. The tournament marks the first-ever competitive collegiate event to take place at The Pfau Course.

CHIP-INS
• Saturday was a shotgun start. The highly regard Pfau Course proved a challenge as no one finished under par on the day. Michigan State's James Piot leads the field as he is even (142). He did card a 70 in the second round, the only score under par for the entire field.

• Junior Harry Reynolds leads the Hoosier lineup as he is currently tied for fifth place. After carding a 75 in the opening round, he cut two strokes off in the second round to card a 2-over 73. He picked up a pair of birdies in the round.

• Sophomore Eric Berggren is tied eighth place after carding a total of 149 (+7) on the day. Berggren made an impressive jump in the second round, improving by five strokes and moving up 15 spots.

• Freshman Clay Merchent is tied for 12^th place, carding a total of 150 (+8) on Saturday. He shot a 75 in each round with three total birdies.

• Junior Mitch Davis ended the day tied for 17^th, highlighted by a first-round score of 74.

• Freshman Drew Salyers rounds out the IU lineup as he is tied for 24^th place. Salyers improved one stroke in the second round, carding a 76.

• The Hoosiers have a number of individuals competing as well, led by senior Ethan Shepherd who is tied for eighth place. He cut three strokes in the second round, carding a 73.

• Brock Ochsenreiter is tied for 17^th place after carding a total of 151. His best round was the first, shooting a 75.

• Indiana's individuals also included senior Evan Yakubov (T38), senior Tate Heintzelman (T48) and sophomore Drew Giacchetto (59).
