
Hoosiers Complete B1G North Florida Invitational in Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Indiana Track & Field completed the B1G North Florida Invitational on Saturday. Kelsey Harris and Leah Moran highlighted the day by winning the 800m and triple jump, respectively.
Kelsey Harris won the 800m open and clocked a time of 2:05.39. Joely Pinkston crossed in a time of 2:10.14 to place seventh. Teddy Browning and Nick Couyoumjian finished back-to-back in third and fourth. Browning saw a time of 1:52.72 and Couyoumjian notched a time of 1:52.90.
Alyssa Robinson competed in the 100m finals where she finished in seventh and notched a time of 11.60.
Rikkoi Brathwaite walked away with a new personal record in 200m when he nabbed a time of 20.97 in the invitational race. Natalie Price competed in the 200m invite and finished in eighth with a time of 24.37.
Maria Anderson and Lauren Thomas placed fifth and sixth in the open 400m. Anderson secured a time of 55.99 while Thomas notched a time of 56.34. On the men's side, Shaton Vaughn crossed in a time of 49.62.
Price, Robinson, Anderson, and Morgan Snow combined for a time of 3:47.79 in the 4x400m relay. On the men's side, Vaughn, Parker Raymond, Micah Camble, and Zubin Muncherji collected a time of 3:19.15.
Mahogany Jenkins had her second personal record of the weekend fall on Saturday where she picked up the victory in the open triple jump with a mark of 12.37m (40' 7"). Leah Moran completed the sweep by winning the triple jump invitational with a distance of (42' 11.5").
Khayla Dawson competed in the open discus where she threw a distance of 51.70m (169' 07") to get the personal best and second place finish. Maddy Pollard took ninth with a mark of 46.37m (152" 01") in the discus Invitational. Nolan Landis notched a top-10 finish in the open discus with a mark of 48.15m (157' 11").
Anna Watson took second in the pole vault with a clearance of 4.10m (13' 3.25"). Nathan Stone took seventh in the men's field and cleared a height of 5.01m (16' 5.25").
Indiana returns home next weekend to host the Big Ten Indiana Invitational No. 2 at Robert C. Haugh Track & Field Complex. The meet will kick off on Friday, Apr. 9 and wrap up on Saturday, Apr. 10.
