Washington Earns Junior National Championship

CORALVILLE, Iowa – Donnell Washington outscored his opponents 65-8 over seven matches, on his way to the UWW Junior National Championship at 79kg.
With the title, Washington will represent Team USA at the Junior World Championships in Ufa, Russia.
Washington wrestled Jake Logan from Lehigh in the final and won 5-4 and 10-4 to secure the title.
Washington, a redshirt freshman finished sixth at the Big Ten Championships and qualified for the NCAA Championships at 174 lb. this season.
Jacob Bullock finished in seventh-place at 125kg to earn All-America honors.
