
Three Hoosiers Carry Leads into Final Dives

INDIANAPOLIS – The second day of the 2020 Olympic Diving Trials concluded with preliminary and semifinal competition on the men's 3M Synchro Springboard and the women's 10M Synchro Platform at the IUPUI Natatorium on Monday.
3-METER SYNCHRO
Rising redshirt senior Andrew Capobianco and alumnus Mike Hixon teamed up to score 848.10 points through two rounds of the men's 3-meter synchronized springboard competition. The duo already punched the US' ticket into the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 in the event, and currently leads the field by over 60 points heading into the final round.
Incoming freshman Carson Tyler and his teammate sit in fourth place with a combined score of 717.48 points. In-bound first-year diver Quinn Henninger and his partner rank fifth in the event with a mark of 672.24 points.
The event will conclude with the finals at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 11.
10-METER SYNCHRO
Former Hoosier national champion Jessica Parratto joined forces with Delaney Schnell (Arizona) to score 613.68 points. The team sits atop the leaderboard.
