Kasper McIntosh Coming Home to Indiana

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – IU head coach Angel Escobedo has announced the addition Indiana native Kasper McIntosh to the Hoosiers roster.
McIntosh, who grew up Portage, Ind., and went to Portage High School has spent two seasons at Minnesota.
In his freshman season in 2018-19 McIntosh posted a 10-10 record with a sixth-place finish at the Daktronics Open. He was fourth at the North Country Open.
The following year in his redshirt freshman season, McIntosh went 13-7 with two pins, one major decision and one technical fall.
McIntosh, who will likely wrestle at 157 lb., graduated from Portage in 2018. He was a four-time state qualifier and 2016 State Runner-up. He was a four-time state place winner, four-time sectional champion and three-time regional champion.
"I'm excited to add Kasper to our program," IU head coach Angel Escobedo said. "He will battle for the 157 spot. He will join his former high school teammates Jacob, Jonathan and DJ Washington on our roster."
