IU Athletics Unveils First-Of-Its-Kind NIL Directory

Bloomington, Ind. – As part of its ongoing efforts to be the leader in intercollegiate athletics in the Name, Image and Likeness arena, IU Athletics today unveiled a first-of-its-kind one-stop, on-line location for NIL information about its student-athletes.
The IU Athletics NIL Directory provides information on how to contact all of Indiana University's student-athletes who are interested in NIL opportunities in a single location. The sport-by-sport, alphabetical directory includes direct links to the social media accounts for all participating student-athletes, thus offering an easy way to contact Hoosier student-athletes to discuss potential NIL opportunities.
"As we move into this new landscape of intercollegiate athletics, we are committed to supporting our student-athletes' efforts to maximize their NIL opportunities," said IU Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Scott Dolson. "The IU Athletics NIL Directory is our latest effort to do just that. The directory offers interested parties a single location to visit to find the best ways to contact our student-athletes through their social media accounts. I'm confident that this will help both our student-athletes as well as these third-parties in expediting their NIL efforts and maximizing the opportunities on both sides."
In addition to the student-athlete listing, the IU Athletics NIL Directory also includes direct links to the IU Athletics NIL Policy, answers to NIL Frequently Asked Questions, and a link to the latest NIL news regarding IU Athletics. An email address – iunil@iu.edu – has also been set up to field additional questions about Name, Image and Likeness opportunities regarding IU student-athletes.
