Donegan Finishes Tied for 11th Overall

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Indiana Hoosiers women's golf team closed out the 2021 Wolverine Invitational in 14th place at the U-M Golf Course in Ann Arbor on Tuesday behind a strong debut tournament from freshman Áine Donegan.

CHIP-INS
• Donegan again paced the Hoosiers in the final round with a 2-over 73 to close her debut tournament at 217 (+4). She tied for 11th place in the individual standings, the best Hoosier finish since Angela Aung tied for ninth at the 2021 Indiana Spring Challenge on April 5.
• The Ennis, County Clare, Ireland, native finished tied for eighth among all Big Ten golfers in the event and second (Lauryn Nguyen, Northwestern) among the conference's freshman golfers.
• Junior Valerie Clancy carded the second-lowest IU round on Monday with a 77 (+6) to finish tied for 58th at 230 (+17). Senior Mary Parsons tied for 65th overall with a three-round total of 233 (+20).
• Junior Hanna Tanaka took a score of 239 (+26) into the clubhouse and tied for 79th place in the event. Freshman Margaret Fernandez fired her best round of the tournament with a 79 (+8) to close out her first collegiate event at 239 (+8).
