Olympia Fields Country Club to Host Nine Ranked Teams
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana men's golf team will play in the 15th annual Fighting Illini Invitational from Sept. 17-19 at the Olympia Fields Country Club in Chicago.

TOURNAMENT NOTES
• The tournament will be contested over a three-day timeframe with 18 holes being played on each day. Tee times will at 10 a.m. ET on both Friday and Saturday with the final round beginning at 9:30 a.m. ET.
• The tournament will feature a highly touted cast of teams with 10 schools ranked inside the top-25 of the Bushnell/Golfweek Preseason Coaches' Poll. Pepperdine (1), Oklahoma State (2), Arizona State (3), North Carolina (4), and Texas (5) headline the team rankings.
• Indiana has not won the team title in this event over the previous 14 competitions, but Alex Martin (209; -1) earned the individual victory in the event in 2008.
PREVIOUSLY THIS SEASON
• Indiana opened the 2021-22 season with a third-place finish (860; +6) as hosts of the 2021 Hoosier Collegiate Invitational at The Pfau Course in Bloomington. Sophomore Drew Salyers collected Big Ten Golfer of the Week honors after winning the individual tournament with a score of 208 (68-72-68; -5) over three rounds.
