MADISON, Wis. – The Indiana Hoosiers women's golf team shot a 921 (308-304-309; +57) to place 10th at the University Ridge Course on Tuesday.

SMU (875; +11) edged out Notre Dame (877; +13) for the team title.

CHIP-INS
• Freshman Áine Donegan posted Indiana's first round under par for the 2021-22 season with a 2-under 70. She carded a team-high five birdies on the final day of the tournament. She finished tied for 10th in the tournament with a three-round score of 220 (76-74-70; +4).
• The top-10 finish is the first of her career and the second top-15 finish in as many tournaments to open her collegiate career. Donegan third among all Big Ten players.
• Junior Hanna Tanaka carded the second-best outing of all Hoosiers on Tuesday with a 79 (+7). Her round included back-to-back birdies on No. 16 and No. 17. The Glenview, Ill., native finished t-54th overall at 235 (78-78-79; +19).
• Junior Valerie Clancy and freshman Beatriz Junqueira played their final rounds at 80 (+8).
• Clancy registered a birdie on No. 14, her first hole of the day, and tied for 48th after shooting a 234 (79-75-80; +18).
• Junqueira closed out the tournament with a three-round score of 232 (75-77-80; +16) to finish tied for 44th.
• Freshman Margaret Fernandez shot an 11-over 83 in her final round to finish 63rd overall at 241 (80-78-83; +25).
• Playing as an individual, senior Maddie Dittoe finished 64th at 242 (79-81-82; +26).
