
Men’s Golf to Compete in Windon Memorial Classic

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The No. 21-ranked Indiana men's golf team will hit the halfway point of the fall schedule as participants in the Windon Memorial Classic at the Lake Short Country Club in Glencoe, Ill.
The tournament marks the third of six in the fall slate for Indiana.

TOURNAMENT NOTES
• The 54-hole tournament will be contested over two days with 36 holes being played on Monday and 18 on Tuesday. Each team will play five players (plus individuals) with four counting towards the team total score.
• Both days will utilize rolling tee time starts off No. 1 and No. 10. Indiana will open the tournament on the first tee box at 8:30 a.m. ET.
• The No. 4-ranked Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets highlight the field that includes six programs inside the top-25 of the latest GolfWeek rankings and 12 ranked in the top-50.
TEAM NOTES
• Sophomore Drew Salyers has twice been named the Big Ten Golfer of the Week () after winning his first tournament as a member of the Cream and Crimson at the Hoosier Collegiate and earned a second-straight top-5 finish at the Fighting Illini Invitational.
• The Hoosiers check in at No. 21 in the latest GolfWeek Collegiate Rankings, the third-best ranking among all Big Ten Conference programs.
PREVIOUSLY THIS SEASON
• Indiana opened the 2021-22 season with a third-place finish (860; +6) as hosts of the 2021 Hoosier Collegiate Invitational at The Pfau Course in Bloomington. Sophomore Drew Salyers collected Big Ten Golfer of the Week honors after winning the individual tournament with a score of 208 (68-72-68; -5) over three rounds.
• The Hoosiers played to a sixth-place finish (856; +16) against a loaded field in the Fighting Illini Invitational and topped six ranked programs. Salyers led the Hoosiers for the second time in as many tournaments to open the season and finished t-fifth after shooting a 209 (68-72-69; -1).
