- Indiana brings the nation's second-longest active road win streaks in to Wednesday's game at Wisconsin. The Hoosiers have won 10 straight on the road, which leads all Power 5 schools. Only Florida Gulf Coast (22) holds a longer streak than IU. The last time Indiana lost a road game was at Maryland on Jan. 4, 2020 (84-80). Other active win streaks for IU include a current six-game win streak and have won their last 12 Big Ten games dating back to last season.
- The Hoosiers improved to 3-0 on Sunday after a win over preseason league favorite No. 6/8 Maryland. Graduate student guard Ali Patberg led the way with 18 points while junior forward Mackenzie Holmes (15 points, 14 rebounds) and senior forward Aleksa Gulbe (17 points, 10 rebounds) each put up double-doubles.
- Gulbe was named to the Big Ten Player of the Week honor roll after her double-double performance against the Terps. The Riga, Latvia native scored 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the win for her second double-double of the season.
- They will also look to match its best conference start on Wednesday night at Wisconsin. IU opened up the 2019-20 Big Ten season with a 4-0 record.
- IU has won seven-in-a-row against the Badgers including a pair of wins in 2020-21. It has won nine of the last 10 meetings between the two schools.
- In both national polls this week, Indiana maintained its top 10 position in the Associated Press (6) and USA Today/WBCA coaches poll (6).
