
Indiana Falls Late to Michigan State in Overtime

EAST LANSING, Mich. ––– Indiana Field Hockey lost late in a competitive game at Michigan State on Sunday when the Spartans scored off a penalty corner in overtime.
Sunday's loss drops Indiana to 8-8 on the season and 1-5 in Big Ten play.
KEY MOMENTS
• Michigan State's Celina Riccardo scored off a penalty corner in overtime at the 63rd minute mark to seal the game, 1-0, for the Spartans.
• In the second period, Indiana started to take control offensively as Indiana put up their four first shots of the game. The Spartans did not get off a shot in the second quarter.
• The Hoosiers drew two penalty corners near the end of the third quarter but could not convert on any shots created.
• Arabella Loveridge had two clutch saves at the 55th minute when she stopped back-to-back Michigan State shots.

• Indiana junior Meghan Dillon took three shots for the game and all three were on goal.
• Seven different Hoosiers took a shot today.
