
Field Hockey Falls in Close Loss to Ohio State

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. ––– Indiana lost in dramatic fashion to No. 18 Ohio State, 2-1, at home on Friday afternoon.
The loss takes Indiana's record down to 8-9 overall and 1-6 in Big Ten play.
KEY MOMENTS
• Indiana broke through with the first score of the game when redshirt junior Sydney Keld found the back of the net off a broken play from a penalty corner at the 11th minute to put Indiana up 1-0.
• The Hoosiers limited Ohio State's opportunities in the second quarter, taking the 1-0 lead into halftime.
• Ohio State's Leanne Bough scored in the 43rd minute off the penalty corner to make it 1-1 heading into the fourth.
• Sarah Charley had her shot blocked before she got another look at it off the rebound, scoring on the second swing to give Ohio State the lead in the 53rd minute.
