Bennett, Smith Score in 2-2 Draw Against Purdue

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Junior forward Anna Bennett and freshman midfielder Olivia Smith each netted a goal in a 2-2 draw against archrival Purdue at Bill Armstrong Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
KEY MOMENTS
• Purdue's Gracie Dunaway scored the first goal of the match on a corner kick in the 27th minute.
• Bennett found the equalizer with an Olimpico goal in the 36th minute after Indiana was awarded a corner kick.
• Freshman midfielder Olivia Smith put the Hoosiers up 2-0 in the 28th minute. A header that was deflected by Purdue landed at the right foot of Smith as she hit it off the right goal post to put the Hoosiers up.
• However, Purdue would score the equalizer in the 63rd minute from Sydney Duarte to tie the score, 2-2.
