BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The third game in a string of three-straight top-15 teams away from home, the Indiana Volleyball team (13-12, 6-7) makes its way to Madison for a Sunday matinee showdown with No. 3 Wisconsin.
Wisconsin, last year's Big Ten and NCAA Champions, rides a 11-game winning streak into Sunday's matchup. The Hoosiers enter the weekend having dropped back-to-back matches.
Four of IU's last seven matches in the regular season are projected to come against top-25 teams, providing the Hoosiers big opportunities to bolster their resume and push for a winning season and NCAA Tournament bid.
Sunday's match will be streamed via the Big Ten Plus service starting at 2:00 PM ET/1:00 PM CT.
The Hoosiers:
• This marks the 48th season of Indiana Volleyball including the fifth under head coach Steve Aird.
• Mady Saris continues to have a productive sophomore campaign for IU. She owns 336 kills (No. 3 in Big Ten) and 3.70 kills per set (No. 7 in Big Ten).
• Camryn Haworth has proven to be one of the most versatile setters in all of the Big Ten. Her 843 assists rank No. 2 in the Big Ten and her 8.97 assists per set put her 6th in the conference.
• Morgan Geddes and Kaley Rammelsberg have returned to give IU a full-strength lineup in conference play. The pair combined for 22 kills in IU's over Rutgers (Oct. 28) with each hitting over .300.
• Paula Cerame has 123 digs over her previous seven matches for IU and is No. 2 in the Big Ten (359) this season in the category.
• She's been over 20 digs in four matches this season and has been in double digits in 13 of the last 14 matches.
• The Hoosiers have developed an identity as one of the toughest serving teams in the conference and in the NCAA.
• IU sits No. 1 in the Big Ten and No. 16 nationally in service aces this year. It is the highest-ranked power five team in the NCAA in aces.
