BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana Track & Field returns to Bloomington to host the annual Hoosier Hills meet on Friday, February 11. The first event is slated to begin at 3:25 p.m. Another group of Hoosiers will travel to Chicago, Ill. for the Windy City Invite on Saturday, February 12. The sprtints will slipt off for the Music City Challenge on Friday, February 11 and Saturday, February 12.

Last Time Out: Meyo Invitational
Indiana is coming off a travel weekend in South Bend, Ind. at the Meyo Invitational hosted by Notre Dame. Camden Marshall and Jayden Ulrich highlighted the weekend by winning their respective events. Marshall crossed the finish line in the 800m with a personal best time of 1:49.16. Continuing a stellar freshman campaign, Ulrich heaved a personal record mark of 16.96m (55' 7.75") in the shot put. Both 4x400m relay squads had solid showings with a pair of second place finishes. Kaylee Lane, Morgan Snow, Maria Anderson, and Alyssa Robinson combined for a season best time of 3:41.25. On the men's side, Shaton Vaughn, Micah Camble, Parker Raymond, and Kenny Benton also captured a season best of 3:09.69. In the women's 800m Kelly Mindak crossed in season best of 2:05.99 while Bailey Hertenstein collected a personal best of 2:06.74. The duo placed third and fourth, respectively.
Stamping the Record Book
As the indoor season progresses, Hoosiers have made their mark on the record book in their respective events. This weekend at the Meyo Invitational four athletes, and two relays saw top-10 marks. Kelley Mindak, Bailey Hertenstein, and Camden Marshall penned their name in the record book in the 800m. Mindak is now No. 3 all time with a time of 2:05.99 while Bailey Hertenstein's time of 2:06.74 is fifth. Marshall stamped a time of 1:49.16 was good enough for also fifth in the IU history. Kaylee Lane, Morgan Snow, Maria Anderson, and Alyssa Robinson ran a time of 3:41.25 which is No. 7 in school history. This is the first time since 2017 that the women have collected a top-10 time. On the men's side, Shaton Vaughn, Micah Camble, Parker Raymond, and Kenny Benton grabbed a time of 3:09.69. The time moved them from ninth to third all-time.
Week Three Regional Rankings
The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association continued their regional rankings on Monday morning. Both squads dropped a spot this week, the men are ranked No. 2 while the women are fourth.
On the men's side, Ohio State took over the top spot while Wisconsin sits in third behind the Hoosiers. Michigan is fourth while Notre Dame rounds out the top-5.
In the Women's rankings, Big Ten foes Michigan and Wisconsin hold down the first two spots while Notre Dame is in third. The Ohio State women completes the top-5.
