
Sprinters Close Out Music City Challenge

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Indiana Track & Field sprints squad concluded their stint at the Music City Challenge on Saturday afternoon.
KEY MOMENTS
• Morgan Snow smashed her previous personal record in the 400m with a time of 54.74 which gave her the win the unseeded 400m.
• Alyssa Robinson competed in the 200m and seeded 400m this weekend. She had a strong finish in the 400m as she picked up third with a time of 54.21. In the 200m Robinson placed fourth and captured a time of 24.03.
• Kenny Benton took home the gold medal in the seeded 400m after clocking a time of 47.04.
• Antonio Laidler and Benton finished in second and third, respectively, in the 200m. Laidler clocked a time of 21.31 while Benton followed with a time of 21.33.
• Both Rikkoi Brathwaite and Laidler won their first round heat of the 60m to advance to the final. Brathwaite clocked the fastest time of 6.67 while Laidler laid down the third fastest at 6.87.
• In the final, Brathwaite was the overall winner, going a time of 6.62. Laidler took third with a time of 6.62.
NOTABLES
• Kenny Benton's time of 47.04 in the seeded 400m was a season best.
• On the women's side of the 400m, Alyssa Robinson also clocked a season best with her time of 54.21

The Hoosiers will complete the regular season with the Alex Wilson Invite hosted by Notre Dame on Saturday, February 19. The first event is scheduled for 11 a.m.
