Hoosiers to Play at Nexus Collegiate in the Bahamas

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana men's golf team, fresh off a championship at the 2022 Big Ten Match Play Championships, will play in the Nexus Collegiate hosted by Auburn.
The nine-team event begins on Feb. 14 at the Albany Golf Club in New Providence, Bahamas.

TOURNAMENT NOTES
• Five programs in the field rank inside the top-40 of the latest GolfWeek rankings, headlined by Auburn (No. 22). Clemson (No. 27), Indiana (No. 32), Ohio State (No. 39) and North Florida (No. 40) round out the highest ranked teams in the field.
• The Hoosiers will be paired with the Clemson Tigers and Chattanooga Mocs in the opening round with tee times beginning at 7:45 a.m. ET off the 10th tee box.
• The tournament will stretch 54 holes across three days of action with the field re-paired before the beginning of each round.
TEAM NOTES
• Indiana won the Big Ten Match Play Championships team title for the second time in as many seasons. The Hoosiers took down Penn State (3.5-1.5), Purdue (3-2) and Michigan State (3-2) in consecutive matches to earn the win.
• Senior Mitch Davis won all three of his individual matches against the Big Ten field to secure the conference's player of the week honors on Feb. 10.
• Sophomore Drew Salyers has twice been named the Big Ten Golfer of the Week (Sept. 8 and Sept. 22) after winning his first tournament as a member of the Cream and Crimson at the Hoosier Collegiate and earned a second-straight top-5 finish at the Fighting Illini Invitational.
• The Hoosiers check in at No. 32 in the latest GolfWeek Collegiate Rankings.
