FRESNO, Calif. – No. 17 Indiana dropped a pair of games at the Fresno State Invite to No. 10 UC Davis, 9-7, and put up a battle against the host No. 8 Bulldogs, falling 11-10 in two overtimes.

KEY MOMENTS

Indiana kept things even after one as Debow and got Indiana on the board first in the opening frame. Things were knotted 2-all after one. Junior Zoe Crouch added of her own goals in the second, but UC Davis added three on the board to take a 5-4 halftime lead.
IU's offense put up three goals in the second half but wasn't enough to keep up with the No. 10 Aggies who added four in the final 16 minutes of play.
In the second game, the Hoosiers trailed by just one after the first, but an onslaught of goals by Fresno State in the second led to a 4-0 deficit with 6:03 remaining. Katherine Hawkins netted her first goal of the weekend on a powerplay to get IU on the board as it would be the halftime score that would stick with IU trailing, 4-1.
A five-goal third quarter highlighted the Hoosiers effort to tie the game up 7-7 going into the fourth. Doherty notched a hat trick with 7:06 remaining as Fresno State tied things up and would remain that way in regulation, 8-8.
The Bulldogs notched a pair of goals in the first overtime to take a 10-8 lead. Goals were exchanged in the second overtime and Doherty added her fourth of the game, but IU came up just short, falling 11-10.
