
IUTF Concludes Time At Meyo Invitational

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Indiana Track & Field wrapped up its time at the Meyo Invitational hosted by Notre Dame on Saturday afternoon.
KEY MOMENTS
• Jayden Ulrich won the women's shot put on Saturday afternoon after heaving a throw of 16.96m (55' 7.75"). Her mark remains No. 5 in school history.
• Freshman Camden Marshall toed the line in the 800m where he captured first place with a personal record time of 1:49.16. This is the second time this season that Marshall has won the event.
• The men's and women's 4x400m relay teams both saw season bests as they both took silver. Kaylee Lane, Morgan Snow, Maria Anderson, and Alyssa Robinson combined for a time of 3:41.25 which is seventh all-time in program history. Shaton Vaugh, Micah Camble, Parker Raymond, and Kenny Benton collected a time of 3:09.69 which marks the third best time in IU history.
• Kelly Mindak saw her season best in the 800m as she clocked a time of 2:05.99 to capture the bronze medal.
• Bailey Hertenstein picked up fourth in the 800m with a personal best of 2:06.74. Shynae Deas also saw a personal record in the event with a time of 2:11.16 which was good for fifth.
• Rounding out top-5 finishes, Vaughn crossed fourth in the 400. He notched a time of 48.89.
NOTABLES
• Camden Marshall's time of 1:49.16 is the sixth best indoor time in program history.
• Both Kelly Mindak and Bailey Hertenstein made their way into the IU record book on Saturday afternoon. Mindak (2:05.99) is now third all-time while Hertenstein (2:06.74) holds the ffith spot.
• Keelan Grant clocked a time of 4:10.01 in the mile for a new personal best.
• Kaylee Lane also picked a personal record as she placed seventh in the 400m with a time of 56.12.
• Mariah Wehrle set a new personal record in the 3000m as she picked up a time of 9:24.35.
• Also, in the 3000m, Phoebe Bates slashed 20 seconds off her previous personal best as she saw a time of 9:50.81.

Indiana returns to Gladstein Field House to host the annual Hoosier Hills on Friday, February 11. The final home meet commences at 4 p.m. with the final event beginning at 8:10 p.m. A group of Hoosiers will also travel to the Windy City Invite on Saturday, February 12.
