Day 1 Results

RALEIGH, N.C. – Indiana Track & Field completed its first day at the Raleigh Relays on Thursday night and were highlighted by Ben Veatch who finished fifth in the 5000m.

KEY MOMENTS
• Ben Veatch was the top Hoosier finisher in the 5000m as he finished in fifth overall with a time of 13:43.59.
• Austin Haskett shaved nine second off his personal best in the 5000m as he won section five with a time of 14:15.10.
• Kyle Mau made his season debut in the 5000m and clocked a time of 14:20.68.
• Anna Watson cleared a height of 4.00m (13' 1.5") in the women's pole vault to finish in fourth overall.
• Dustin Horter led the Hoosiers in the 1500m with a time of 3:48.07 to finish in 55th in a stacked field.

NOTABLES
• Camden Marshall competed in his first career 1500m on Thursday night. The freshman picked up a time of 3:50.23.
• Gabriel Sanchez and Keelan Grant raced in their first collegiate where they took sixth and 16^th, respectively. Sanchez saw a time of 14:24.80 while Grant crossed in time of 14:39.76.

UP NEXT

Indiana returns to NC State for the second day of the Raleigh Relays on Friday, March 25. The first event for the Hoosiers is slated to begin at 12:45 p.m.
