SARASOTA, Fla. – 20th-ranked Indiana will have its greatest test of its season thus far in the Big Ten Invitational, Friday and Saturday (April 15-16) at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Florida.

- Indiana is one of 16 teams competing at the Big Ten Invitational, including each of the Big Ten rowing programs (Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Ohio State, Rutgers, Wisconsin) as well as teams from the ACC (Duke, Notre Dame, Virginia), Pac-12 (Stanford, Washington State), Ivy League (Brown, Dartmouth) and Big 12 (Tennessee).
- IU comes in as the 20th-ranked program in the Pocock/CRCA poll for the third straight week. Including IU, 10 programs competing at the event were including in the April 13 poll: Stanford (No. 2), Michigan (6), Brown (7), Ohio State (8), Duke (10), Virginia (12), Rutgers (17), Tennessee (18) and Washington State (19). Five more teams received votes in the poll.
- Friday's schedule will be split into two sessions, the first beginning at 8:50 a.m. ET for the Hoosiers. Following a break in competition, IU's afternoon session will begin at 2:15 p.m. The regatta will conclude Saturday with one session, beginning at 9:40 a.m. for the Hoosiers.
- Indiana's First Varsity 8 was named the Big Ten Boat of the Week on Tuesday (April 12) after collecting two of IU's six wins at the OSU Invitational last weekend.
