IU Varsity 4 Victories Highlight Friday at Big Ten Invite

SARASOTA, Fla. – Against a field full of ranked competition, a strong morning performance highlighted No. 20 Indiana rowing's first day at the Big Ten Invitational Friday (April 15) at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Florida.

KEY MOMENTS

During the morning session, Indiana finished top-two in four of the six events including wins from the First Varsity 4 and Second Varsity 4 boats.
IU grabbed one more second-place finish during the afternoon session, as the First Novice 8 crew placed behind No. 12 Virginia but ahead of No. 18 Tennessee.
Indiana's 1V4 and 1N8 boats each dropped at least five seconds between the morning and afternoon sessions.
