WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Indiana Hoosiers men's golf team completed 36 holes of golf at the Boilermaker Invitational at the Ackerman-Allen Golf Course on Saturday and are currently tied with Miami (OH) for seventh in the event.

• Senior Mitch Davis carried the load for the Hoosier lineup and shot a team-low 141 (69-72, -1). He was one of 12 players in the field to record a round in the 60s and it tied for sixth in the individual ranks.
• Davis played a team-best five birdies in his opening round and played near perfect golf in the second round, compiling one birdie and 15 pars.
• Junior Noah Gillard and sophomore Clay Merchent are all amongst a group of eight golfers tied for the 40th spot in the individual rankings after shooting a 150 (77-73, +8) on the day.
• Merchent converted four birdies, two in each round, while Gillard knocked in three total birdie attempts.
• Sophomores Drew Salyers matched Merchent's effort with four total birdies (three in the second round) on his way to a 151 (77-74, +9). He is tied for 48th.
• Senior Harry Reynolds tallied a score of 155 (78-77; +13). His final Saturday scorecard consisted of two birdies.
• Playing as an individual, fifth-year senior Ethan Shepherd is tied for 31st overall after shooting a 149 (78-71, +7). He knocked down four birdie tries during his second round of 1-under play.
