BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana men's golf team will kick off the Boilermaker Invitational at the Ackerman-Allen Golf Course beginning on Saturday in West Lafayette.

TOURNAMENT NOTES
• Three programs in the field rank inside the top-60 of the latest GolfWeek rankings, headlined by Illinois (No. 21). Purdue (No. 32) and Indiana (No. 51) round out the highest ranked teams in the field.
• Indiana has competed in the Boilermaker Invitational 16 times out of the 17 seasons the tournament has been held. Twice (2006, 2012) the Hoosiers have left West Lafayette with the team title.
• IU had posted a top-10 individual finisher in the event a total of 13 times, the most recent coming in 2021 with Merchent (t-4th) and Davis (t-9th). Jorge Campillo, a 2020 Olympian, won the event in '06 and '08, while Jeff Overton claimed runner-up honors in '04 and '05.
• The Hoosiers will be paired with the Purdue Boilermakers and Illinois Fighting Illini in the opening round with a projected start time of 9 a.m. ET.
TEAM NOTES
• Indiana won the Big Ten Match Play Championships team title for the second time in as many seasons. The Hoosiers took down Penn State (3.5-1.5), Purdue (3-2) and Michigan State (3-2) in consecutive matches to earn the win.
• Senior Mitch Davis won all three of his individual matches against the Big Ten field to secure the conference's player of the week honors on Feb. 10.
• Sophomore Drew Salyers has twice been named the Big Ten Golfer of the Week (Sept. 8 and Sept. 22) after winning his first tournament as a member of the Cream and Crimson at the Hoosier Collegiate and earned a second-straight top-5 finish at the Fighting Illini Invitational.
• The Hoosiers check in at No. 51 in the latest GolfWeek Collegiate Rankings.
