BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana women's golf team played 36 holes through frigid temperatures and early snow flurries as hosts of the IU Invitational played on the Pfau Course on Saturday. The Hoosiers are currently in seventh place after shooting a 611 (309-302; +35).

Top Indiana Player: Áine Donegan – 148 (73-75; +4)

CHIP-INS
• Freshman Áine Donegan was the top-ranked Hoosier through 36 holes with a 148 (73-75; +4). She turned in a 1-over 73 scorecard in the opening round with birdies on No. 13 and 16. Donegan's second-round 75 consisted of birdies on No. 1 and No. 11.
• Senior Alexis Miestowski carded a 151 (80-71; +7) on Saturday. She shot an 8-over 80 over the first 18 holes of the day and went an IU-low 71 in the second round with birdies on No. 3, No. 9, No. 10 and No. 18.
• Freshman Margaret Fernandez concluded the day at 154 (75-79; +10). She fired a 3-over 75 in the debut round of the tournament with a birdie on No. 11. Her first-round tally marked the second-best round she has played this season. She shot a 7-over 79 in the second round.
• Fifth-year senior Mary Parsons went 158 (81-77; +14) on the day. She birdied No. 18 in the first round to shoot a 9-over 81. Her lone birdie in the second round came on No. 14. She finished the round at a 5-over 77.
• Sophomore Morgan Dabagia entered the clubhouse at 162 (83-79; +18). She secured a birdie on No. 12 during her 11-over 83 in the first round. She fired a 7-over 79 over the final 18.
• Freshman Beatriz Junqueira rounded out the Hoosier lineup at 165 (83-82; +21). She compiled an 11-over 83 in the opening round. Her 10-over 82 in the second round included a birdie on No. 13.

INDIVIDUALS
• Senior Maddie Dittoe led the Hoosier individuals with a score of 160 (79-81; +16) on Saturday. She shot a 7-over 79 in the first round. She carded two birdies (No. 9 and No. 14) on her way to a 9-over 81 over the final 18 holes.
• Junior Hanna Tanaka finished the opening day at 163 (80-83; +19). Tanaka knocked down a birdie putt on No. 12 on her way to an 8-over 80 in the first round. She sunk a birdie putt on No. 11 during her 11-over 83 second round.
• Senior Arushi Singh played a 165 (83-82; +21) scorecard. She fired an 11-over 83 in the opening round and a 10-over 82 in the second round.

UP NEXT
Indiana will wrap up the IU Invitational at The Pfau Course on Sunday morning. The Hoosiers will be paired with IUPUI and Toledo for the final 18 holes.

The next tournament for IU will be the 2022 Big Ten Championships from April 22-24 at the Fox Chapel Golf Course in Pittsburgh.
