
Ulrich Wins Big Ten Championship on Second Day of Big Ten Championships

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Indiana Track & Field competed on the second day of Big Ten Outdoor Track & Field Championships where Jayden Ulrich saw a Big Ten Individual title in the women's discus.
KEY MOMENTS
• On her final throw, Jayden Ulrich stepped into the ring and delivered the largest throw of the day and her career in the discus. Ulrich saw a mark of 59.01 to earn her first Big Ten Championship medal.
• After qualifying for the 200m final on Friday, Kenny Benton advanced to the final of the 400m with a time of 47.23. The men's 400m final will run on Sunday at 2:45 p.m. ET.
• Rikkoi Brathwaite and Antonio Laidler will return in the men's 100m. Brathwaite saw a time of 10.25 while Laidler went 10.35. The final is scheduled for 2:55 p.m. on Sunday.
• Hannah Stoffel will run two events on Sunday afternoon as she already qualified in the 1500m on Friday and advanced in the 800m on Saturday. Stoffel collected a time of 2:09.16.
• Camden Marshall is the lone Hoosier moving on to the men's 800m final as he captured a time of 1:49.14 to advance. The race beings at 3:08 p.m. on Sunday.
• Jake Gebhardt ended the night for Indiana as he placed eighth overall in the steeplechase with a time of 9:06.97.
• In the field, Paola Fernandez-Sola scooped the bronze medal with a leap of 6.09m (19' 11.75").
