LINCOLN, Neb. – Brittany Ford hit a three-run home run to put Indiana in front 3-2 in the fifth inning, but Nebraska came back to win 5-4 in eight innings on Sunday.

• In the second inning the Hoosiers loaded the bases, but could not push across a run and left the game scoreless.
• In the third inning Nebraska second baseman Cam Ybarra hit a home run to center field to put Nebraska up 1-0.
• Nebraska added a run in the fourth inning to increase their lead to 2-0.
• In the fifth inning Cora Bassett hit her 19th double to break the Hoosiers single season school record. Brittany Ford hit a three-run home run to put the Hoosiers up 3-2.
• Nebraska responded in the bottom half of the fifth with two runs to retake the lead at 4-3.
• Brianna Copeland scored a run for the Hoosiers in the top of the seventh inning to tie the game 4-4.
• A Natalie Foor strikeout with the bases loaded ended the Nebraska threat in the bottom of the seventh to send the game to extra innings.
