Indiana Men’s Tennis Wraps up Play at The Duke Bonk Invitational

CARY, N.C. ––– The Indiana Men's Tennis program finished competition in their first tournament of the fall season this weekend in at The Duke Bonk Invitational at the Cary Tennis Park.
The Hoosiers had four players participate over the weekend, including Senior+ Patrick Fletchall, junior Michael Andre, junior Ilya Tiraspolsky and freshman Ekansh Kumar. Each player participated in singles and doubles competition.
Andre and Fletchall competed in the Singles A Draw bracket, Tiraspolsky was in the Singles B Draw bracket and Kumar was in the Singles C Draw. For doubles play, Tiraspolsky and Fletchall played together in the Doubles A Draw while Andre and Kumar played together in the Doubles B Draw.
The team was highlighted by some impressive play across the board amongst its participants.
The team's standouts included Michael Andre, who earned fifth place in the Singles A Draw bracket, and Ekansh Kumar, who won the Consolation Finals of the Singles C Draw. In doubles, the duo of Andre and Kumar won the Consolation Finals of the Doubles B Draw.
