Weather Concerns Alter Evie Odom Invitational

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Due to potential weather in the area, the Indiana women's golf team will open the Evie Odom Invitational a day earlier than expected with an alternate format. The event, played at the Princess Anne Country Club in Virginia Beach, will begin with a shotgun start on Sept. 29.

TOURNAMENT NOTES
• The tournament will feature 18 holes and a shotgun start at 1:30 p.m. in the opening round on Thursday. The second round with begin on Friday morning with the chance of the teams playing 36 holes, weather pending.
• The tournament features two teams (North Florida and Princeton) that won their conference championships in 2021 and eventually played in an NCAA Regional.
• Tournament namesake, Evie Odom, made the largest contribution to a women's sport in the history of ODU Athletics.
