IU Men’s Tennis Takes Care of Toledo

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. ––––– Despite playing two matches in a day, Indiana Men's Tennis didn't look fazed in the slightest.

Following Indiana's 4-1 win earlier in the day over Dayton, the Hoosiers provided a 4-1 encore victory over Toledo in a Sunday afternoon match at the IU Tennis Center.

The Hoosiers swept doubles play, winning all three matches without worry.

The doubles point gave Indiana the momentum it needed to continue its strong play in singles.

Ilya Tiraspolsky, Ekansh Kumar and Luka Vukovic all picked off wins at No. 4, 6 and 2 singles, respectively to give Indiana a 4-1 victory.

With the win over Toledo, Indiana is now 2-0 on the season.

Indiana will face Middle Tennessee State for its first road test of the season on Friday, Jan. 20 with a 6 p.m. start.
