IU Men’s Tennis Set for Road Match at Middle Tennessee

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. ––––– After a 2-0 weekend to start the season, Indiana Men's Tennis is set to hit the court again on Friday, Jan. 20 at Middle Tennessee.

This will be the Hoosiers' first road trip of the year, and against a very talented opponent. In the preseason ITA poll, Middle Tennessee was ranked No. 25 nationally. In this week's rankings, they are just outside of the poll, and are receiving votes.

Middle Tennessee is 1-0 this season, picking up a win over Michigan State in their season opener last weekend.

In Indiana's wins over Dayton and Toledo, it showcased a versatile lineup mixed with upperclassmen and freshmen to pick up two wins by a score of 4-1.

Freshman Ekansh Kumar and junior Ilya Tiraspolsky both went 2-0 in singles matches over the weekend.

The doubles teams of Kumar and Luka Vukovic and freshmen Sam Landau and Luc Boulier each went 2-0 last weekend, as well.
