NOTES
- Indiana and Rutgers meet in the regular season for the first time since the 2019-20 season as the last three regular season meetings were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The two teams have met just twice in three years in the Big Ten Tournament, both wins for IU in the 2019-20 and 2021-22 season. Rutgers last played in Bloomington on Feb. 18, 2019 in a 69-61 win for the Scarlet Knights.
- The Hoosiers are coming off a historic win on Thursday night when it defeated No. 2/5 Ohio State, 78-65, inside Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. It marked the highest ranked win since 1994 when IU defeated No. 2/2 Iowa in Bloomington.
- Per OptaStats, senior forward Mackenzie Holmes became just the second player in 20 years (men's or women's) to have 3 straight 25-point games in the regular season in wins over AP Top 25 foes. The only other was Maya Moore, former UConn great, who did it in 2010-11. She had 30 points against Illinois, 25 in a win at Michigan and 26 against the Buckeyes.
- Junior guard Sydney Parrish turned in her third double-double in the win over the Buckeyes on Thursday night with 12 points and a team-high 11 rebounds.
- Nationally, the Hoosiers are one of the best teams in a couple of statistical categories. They are second in the nation in field goal percentage (50.1), sixth in assist-to-turnover ratio (+1.47), seventh in assists per game (18.6) and scoring margin (+21.5).
