RV IUWS Battles Purdue for Golden Boot on Sunday

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana women's soccer (9-1-3, 3-1-1 B1G) travels to West Lafayette, Ind. for a rivalry matchup against Purdue (3-9-1, 0-4-1 B1G) at Folk Field.

ABOUT THE BOILERMAKERS
• Purdue is coming off a 2-1 loss against Wisconsin in Madison on Sunday. Freshman defender Zoe Cuneio scored her second goal of the season in the 62nd minute to cut the Badgers deficit.
• Kayla Budish and Gracie Dunaway lead the team with three goals a piece and combine for 14 points.
• Senior goalkeeper Charlotte Cyr has started in 12 matches between the posts with 40 saves on the year. She holds a .656 save percentage with a 3-8-0 record.
• The Boilermakers have scored 16 goals with 19 assists with 146 shots on the season.
• Head coach Drew Roff is in his ninth year at the helm of the Boilermaker's program and holds a 196-138-32 career record through 17 seasons.
SERIES HISTORY
• Purdue leads the series 16-4-6.
• In the last matchup on Oct. 16, 2022, the squads battled to a 2-2 draw.
• IU is looking for their first win against the in-state rival since 2014 with four of the last eight matches being decided by a draw.
LAST TIME OUT
• Indiana (9-1-3, 3-1-1 B1G) tallied three shots in the first half, holding Minnesota to one in the first half. Neither team saw an opportunity on goal.
• The first shot on goal was taken by the Golden Gophers (4-4-4, 0-3-2 B1G) in the 50th minute, but junior goalkeeper Jamie Gerstenberg made her first save with a diving save to clear it out.
