Hoosiers Head to NCAA Great Lakes Regionals

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana cross country teams are back in Madison, Wis., for the NCAA Great Lakes Regional meet at Thomas Zimmerman Cross Country Course on Friday morning.

The course is located at 9002 County Road PD Madison, WI 53593.
Parking and admissions for the meet are free of charge and can be found HERE.
Participating Teams
Indiana will race against 15 teams in the Great Lakes region.
The women will compete against four top-ranked Big Ten teams including the Big Ten Champions Michigan State, Wisconsin, Michigan and Ohio State.
In addition, they will race a top local competitor in Notre Dame who is ranked No. 1 in the region and No. 9 in the nation.
The men's squad will face the top competitor in the region No. 5 Wisconsin who won back-to-back Big Ten titles. They will also face in-state competitor in No. 12 Butler who is ranked second in the region.
At the Big Ten Championships, the men earned an eighth-place team finish with Abe Eckman and Austin Haskett leading the team with two top-25 finishes. The women finished 11th with freshman Lily Myers and Grace Tyson leading the way alongside senior Phoebe Bates.
This meet serves as one of nine qualifiers across the country to next week's NCAA Cross Country Championships in Charlottesville, Va.
The top two men's and women's teams will advance automatically out of each region with the final 13 to be selected at-large by the NCAA committee.
Individually, the top four finishers on non-advancing teams will also earn a spot at the NCAA Championships. Two additional individuals are selected at-large by the committee.
