BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – No. 16 Indiana is back in action on New Year's Eve as it hosts Illinois to jump back into Big Ten play at 12:30 p.m. ET at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.

Illinois split a pair of games at the West Palm Beach Invite to Arkansas and UTEP before breaking for the holidays. They are led by a pair of guards in Genesis Bryant (15.2 ppg.) and Makira Cook (12.5 ppg.). Forwards Kendall Bostic and Adalia Mackenzie also add double figures for the Illini, who shoot 46.3 percent from the floor and average 75.1 points per game.

- The Hoosiers will look to extend its longest active win streak over another Big Ten opponent against Illinois on Sunday. They hold a 15-game win streak over the Fighting Illini, which dates back to the 2014-15 season. IU is 26-10 all-time when playing Illinois inside Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.
- Senior guard Sara Scalia set a new IU career-high 32 points on 8-for-11 from the 3-point line in the non-con finale against Bowling Green. The Stillwater, Minn. native went 11-for-17 from the floor and totaled for over half of IU's made triples (14) on the evening. It marked th first 30 point game of her IU career and the sixth in her collegiate career. She leads IU from the 3-point line this season, as she has hit 35 triples and shoots 36.8 percent from beyond the arc.
- Indiana ranks sixth in the nation in average attendance per game, with 8,578 fans in attendance in each game through the first four home games. They rank second in the Big Ten in overall attendance and are one of only seven programs in the country averaging crowds of 8,000 or more.
- Sophomore forward Lilly Meister has pulled down seven or more rebounds four times this season as she has appeared in all 11 games off the bench this season. The Rochester, Minn. native grabbed a season-high eight boards versus Bowling Green and seven in games against Stetson and Evansville. She has also scored six or more points in five games while shooting a collective 77.4 percent from the field.
