Hoosiers Complete Series Sweep of Eagles

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana baseball team (13-7) used a walk-off single from junior Bobby Whalen in the bottom of the ninth inning to take down Morehead State 6-5 on Friday afternoon at Bart Kaufman Field.
After relinquishing the lead in the top of the ninth, the Hoosiers needed their second walk-off victory of the weekend to down the Eagles. With two outs, freshman Tyler Cerny singled to right field. A wild pitch allowed him to advance to second before Whalen lined a ball down the line in right field to bring Cerny home for the win.
Junior pitcher Seti Manase (2-1) earned the win on the afternoon. Sophomore starter Luke Sinnard tossed a gem, going six innings while punching out a career-high 13 batters.
