Indiana Men’s Tennis Drops Match to No. 6 Michigan

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. –––– Indiana Men's Tennis fell to No. 6 Michigan, 4-0, on Saturday afternoon at the IU Tennis Center.
Indiana fought hard in the doubles matches but Michigan pulled away in the latter portions of the matches at No. 1 and 3 doubles by scores of 6-1, 6-3, respectively to take a 1-0 lead heading into singles play.
Michigan carried that momentum from doubles into singles play as the Wolverines won at No. 2, 6 and 5 singles to clinch the match, 4-0.
The other three singles matches went unfinished.
With the loss, Indiana falls to 12-11 on the season and 1-5 in Big Ten play.
Indiana will be back in action tomorrow against No. 69 Michigan State at noon at the IU Tennis Center.
