Indiana Men’s Tennis Falls to No. 2 Ohio State in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio. –––– No. 2 Ohio State defeated Indiana, 7-0, on Sunday at the Ty Tucker Center.
Ohio State started out quickly with wins in doubles at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles, 6-0 and 6-2, respectively. Earning the doubles point gave the Buckeyes momentum heading into singles play.
The Buckeyes would win at No. 4, 3, and 2 singles to clinch the match, in that order. They would close out the day with wins at No. 1, 5 and 6 singles.
With the loss, Indiana's regular season record finishes at 12-14 overall and 1-8 in the Big Ten.
Indiana's regular season has come to a close. The postseason will begin on Thursday, April 27 when the Hoosiers will open play in the Big Ten Tournament and host the entire event throughout the weekend.
