No. 16 Indiana Completes Friday Heats at NCAA Championships

PENNSAUKEN, N.J. – No. 16-ranked Indiana rowing completed the first of three days of competition Friday (May 26) at the 2023 NCAA Rowing Championships at Camden County Boathouse in Pennsauken, New Jersey.

All three Indiana boats will move on to C/D semifinals Saturday (May 27) as its Varsity Eight and Second Varsity Eight crews placed just outside of A/B semifinals with fourth place finishes in their heats. The Varsity Four took fifth in its heat.

Sunday's C final spots, awarding national finishers 13-18, are up for grabs Saturday and will be awarded to the top-three finishers in each of the C/D semifinal heats. The remaining boats will move on to the D final for national places 19-22.

Indiana's V8 is entered into the first race of the day Saturday at 8:12 a.m. IU's 2V8 will race at 9 o' clock, and the V4 will close out the day at 9:48. Fans can watch the action on NCAA.com.
