• IU led 6-2 in corner kicks.

QUOTABLES
Indiana assistant coach Erwin van Bennekom
"Obviously, very happy with the win. I said to the team after that the teams that play a similar game like we did today with the shot count and how dominate we were and didn't get a goal, we got one at the right time again off a set piece. I am very happy with that. I don't think that we made the game any easier for ourselves. We left them hanging a little bit, but I thought it was a deep organized team like they were. Credit to them on how they defended. They made it really hard for us to create chances, but I think even with that we created enough to win the game a little easier than we did. The season is too short to look into how we win, its more the outcome. It's another win and we are happy with that."
Q: On the takeaways from the first four games heading into Tennessee…
"It's obviuously going to be a different opponent similar to Virginia Tech's level. We have a few players that are playing really well and a couple that are going up and down. We need to get everyone back playing their best soccer especially playing Tennessee on the road. We are going to need everyone to be playing at their best."
UP NEXT
The Hoosiers will travel to Knoxville, Tenn. on Thursday, Aug. 31 for a matchup against the Lady Vols at Regal Soccer Stadium.
