Big Ten Volleyball Breakdown: Week 3

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Big Ten Volleyball season is off and running in 2023. Perhaps the nation's deepest conference, the Big Ten offers a wide variety of physical and skillful teams that have a shot at making the NCAA Tournament this year.
After three weeks of action, here's how thing shake out in the conference.
BIG TEN WEEK IN REVIEW
• Wisconsin continued winning ways with sweeps of Miami and Arizona at home while Nebraska fended off Creighton and Long Beach
• Minnesota earned a big in at No. 7 Oregon before falling to No. 5 Stanford. Ohio State was beaten by both Pac-12 foes.
• Purdue earned big wins over SMU and No. 21 Kentucky while Penn State was swept at No. 2 Louisville.
• Northwestern and Indiana both won three matches in straight sets away from home.
• Illinois went winless on the weekend in losses to Notre Dame and Illinois.
• Michigan and Michigan State both beat UNC and lost to Duke.

• Six Big Ten teams are ranked in the latest AVCA Top 25 poll including four in the top-13 (Wisconsin, Nebraska, Minnesota, Penn State)
• All six teams were ranked in the top-20.
• Nebraska and Wisconsin are the lone remaining undefeated teams.
