TEAM
• Indiana is 7-0 all-time against Indiana State and 17-1 all-time against FCS opponents with 14 straight victories over the division.
• With the win, head coach Tom Allen picked up career win No. 31 to move into a tie for No. 6 on Indiana's all-time wins list with John Pont (31; 1965-72).
• Indiana's game captains were WR Cam Camper, DL Andre Carter, LB Aaron Casey and DB Noah Pierre.
• Indiana won the coin toss and deferred. Indiana State received the opening kick.
• Indiana improved to 10-0 under head coach Tom Allen when holding opponents to 10-or-fewer points.
• The 558 yards of total offense marks the eighth time under head coach Tom Allen that the offense gained at least 500 yards of total offense and the first since Western Kentucky in 2021.
• Indiana's offense gained 33 first downs, its most in a game since 35 at Western Kentucky in 2021. That total is tied for No. 10 all-time in a single game in program history.
• Indiana's 340 yards (116 rushing; 224 passing) of total offense in the first half are the most in a half since it gained 351 yards (100 rushing; 251 passing) at Rutgers in 2016.
• Five Indiana rushing touchdowns against Indiana State are the most by an IU team since it had six against Maryland in 2016. The five rushing touchdowns are the most under Tom Allen as head coach.
• Indiana converted 12 of the 16 third down attempts in the game, its most in a single game since 2013. Indiana converted 16 of 18 attempts that season against Purdue. IU also converted 12 third down conversions at Cincinnati in 2022.
• Allowed just 93 yards of total offense, which are the second fewest yards allowed by an Indiana defense since at least 1996. The fewest yards of total offense allowed by a Hoosier defense is 75 yards versus Rutgers in 2019.
• The 21 passing yards allowed are the third fewest allowed by Indiana since at least 1996. IU allowed zero passing yards against Charleston Southern in 2017 and one yard to Rutgers in 2019.
• The Indiana defense held Indiana State to just eight first downs in the game, its fewest in a game since it allowed six to Rutgers in 2019. It is the fifth time since at least 1996 that Indiana allowed eight-or-fewer first downs in a game.
• Three Hoosiers made their first start for Indiana to bring the season total to 16: WR DeQuece Carter, DB Phillip Dunnam, QB Tayven Jackson.
• Three transfer student-athletes made their Indiana debut to bring the season total to 21: DL Robby Harrison, OL Max Longman and LS Jaxon Miller.
??• Three true freshman made their collegiate debut for Indiana to bring the season total to four: TE Bryce Hendershot, QB Broc Lowry and K Nicolas Radicic.

• Posted first career tackle for loss with a third-quarter sack.
Lanell Carr Jr. | OLB | Sr.
• Posted a career-high four tackles to move past his previous high of three tackles, which he did on four occasions in 2022 at West Virginia.
• Logged career-high-tying 1.5 tackles for loss, a total he first accumulated at Texas in 2022 while a student-athlete at West Virginia.
Andre Carter | DL | R-Sr.+
• Posted sixth career multi-tackle for loss game with 2.0 TFLs to mark his second straight double-digit TFL effort as a Hoosier.
DeQuece Carter | WR | Sr.+
• Made first career as a Hoosier and the 39th of his career. First 38 starts came in four seasons at Fordham.
Omar Cooper Jr. | WR | R-Fr.
• Made first career reception with a 31-yard grab in the first quarter.
• Finished with a game-high seven receptions and 101 yards receiving for his first career 100-yard receiving game. It is the first 100-yard receiving game for a Hoosier since Cam Camper (126) at Cincinnati in 2022.
Phillip Dunnam | DB | So.
• Made first career start in 14th career appearance.
• Posted career-high eight tackles. Previous high was six stops last weekend against Ohio State.

• Made Indiana debut in the fourth quarter.

• Made collegiate debut in the fourth quarter.
Josh Henderson | RB | Sr.+
• Scored first touchdown of the season for his ninth career score, all coming at Indiana. Five of those are rushing scores.
Tayven Jackson | QB | R-Fr.
• Made first collegiate start in fifth career game.
• Scored his first touchdown as a Hoosier on a 10-yard rush in the first quarter for his second career rushing score. Other rushing touchdown came versus Akron in 2022 while at Tennessee.
• Finished No. 3 on the Indiana single game completion percentage list at .857 (18-of-21) behind Peyton Ramsey (13-of-14 vs. Eastern Illinois; 2019) and Matt LoVecchio (15-of-17 at Illinois; 2004).
• Just the second Hoosier quarterback (third occurrence) to finish with a completion percentage of better than .800 with 20-or-more passing attempts. He joins Ramsey, who went 23-of-27 (.852) against UConn in 2019 and 16-of-20 (.800) at Virginia in 2017.
• Posted career highs in three major passing categories: completions (18), attempts (21) and passing yardage (236).

• Scored Indiana's first touchdown of the season on a 25-yard rush in the first quarter, his second career rushing score (Purdue; 2022).
• Tied career high for receiving yards with 39 yards, last at Rutgers in 2022.
