Taylor Etling Named January’s Female Scholar-Athlete of the Month

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. –––– Indiana Field Hockey senior Taylor Etling was named IU's Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year for the month of January.

Etling has enjoyed a successful academic and athletic career throughout her four years in Bloomington.

The senior from Saint Louis, Mo. is an Exercise major and played in 46 career games in her time as a Hoosier. She has been named Academic All-Big Ten twice in her career and has also earned NFHCA National Academic Squad honors.

In 2022, she was named a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar.

Etling plans to attend Medical School after graduation this May.
