NOTES
- Indiana returns to the court after a week's break, last hitting the hardwood in a 74-68 win at Purdue on Jan. 21. The Hoosiers were led by 20 points each from senior guard Chloe Moore-McNeil and senior guard Sara Scalia. It marked the eight-straight Barn Burner Trophy win for IU.
- The Hoosiers and Wildcats meet for the first time on Sunday as part of this year's two game series. Indiana has won three-straight dating back to the 2020-21 season.
- A calling card to a Teri Moren team always includes a high defensive standard, which the Hoosiers continue to live up to this season. They lead the Big Ten in field goal percentage defense (38.7%) and third in scoring defense (61.2 ppg.). They've held four opponents to 50 points or less and nine to 60 points or fewer. No team has shot over 50 percent against the Hoosiers all season and held under 35 percent or less six times.
- Three Hoosiers were named to positional Top 10 award lists by the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame and WBCA this week. Senior guard Sara Scalia (Ann Meyers Drysdale), sophomore guard Yarden Garzon (Cheryl Miller) and Holmes (Lisa Leslie) each earned appearances on their respective awards lists, as Indiana is one of three schools to have three players on the lists (LSU and South Carolina).
- Eyes will begin to focus on IU's all-time scoring record, as Holmes closes in on taking over the top spot in the history books. She enters Sunday's game just 91 points shy of Tyra Buss's (2014-18) record of 2,364 points. Through her five seasons, the Gorham, Maine native has collected 2,256 points and is only the second player to score over 2,000 points in her IU career.
