Yale Bests Hoosiers, 6-1

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana women's tennis fell 6-1 to the Yale Bulldogs on Sunday morning at the IU Tennis Center.
The Hoosiers put up a strong fight in doubles splitting the first two matches, but the Bulldogs would win the No. 1 doubles match 7-5.
Freshman Elisabeth Dunac picked up a win in the No. 5 singles. She won in 7-5, 6-2, in straight sets to improve to 4-0 on the season.
Redshirt junior Lara Schneider split the first two sets in the No. 1 singles but fell 10-7 in a competitive tiebreaker. Freshman Magdalena Swierczynska fought hard in No. 4 singles after dropping the first set. She came back to win 6-0 to tie it up before falling 6-2 in the third set.
The Hoosiers are now 4-1 on the season.
