Indiana Men’s Tennis Set to Host Four-Game Slate

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. ––––– The Indiana Men's Tennis team is set to play four matches over the next four days at the IU Men's Tennis Center.
In Indiana's first match of the four-game slate, the Hoosiers will take on Ball State on Wednesday, January 30, at 5 p.m. Ball State comes into the match with a 3-1 record with wins over Butler, Eastern Illinois, and Xavier. Their only loss came in a 5-2 match against Dayton this past Saturday.
On Friday, February 2, the Hoosiers will host a doubleheader against Bellarmine and Marquette. The first match against Bellarmine will take place at 1 p.m, and the following match against Marquette will take place at 5 p.m.
Bellarmine currently sits at a 1-4 record, with their last match being a loss against Charlotte this past Sunday.
Marquette holds a 1-1 record, earning their first win this past Saturday against Chicago State, 5-2.
Indiana will conclude the four-game slate with a match against Boise State on Sunday, February 4, at 11 a.m.
Boise State holds a 3-1 record, with their last match being a loss against No. 1 Ohio State, 4-0.
In singles play, sophomore Sam Landau and senior Michael Andre have put together strong starts to the season. Both players have earned a 3-1 singles record and have each won a ranked match so far this season.
