BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana women's soccer will travel to Iowa City to take on the No. 11 Iowa Hawkeyes on Sunday, October 6 at 2 p.m. ET at the Iowa Soccer Complex.
ABOUT THE HAWKEYES
The No. 11 Hawkeyes are 9-0-3 and are currently in a four-way tie for the top of the Big Ten standings with a 4-0-1 record. They are on a three-game winning streak with victories at Illinois, vs. No. 15 Penn Sate and at Northwestern all by a margin of 2-1. Berit Parten leads the way with six goals and 12 total points on the year. Meike Ingles has tallied up 11 points on four goals and three assists. Goalie Macy Enneking has a 9-0-3 record on the year and has allowed just six goals by the opposition.
LAST TIME OUT
The Hoosiers split a pair of games against new Big Ten foes Oregon and Washington. Indiana scored three goals en route to a 3-1 victory on Sept.26. All three goals came from a different scorer as the Hoosiers notched its first Big Ten win of the season, Avery Snead (23'), Ellie Britt (40') and Layla Sirdah (67') all recorded goals in the win. Wrapping up the west coast tour on Sept. 29 at Washington, the Hoosiers were blanked in the effort as it fell 1-0.

• IU has scored 24 goals on 22 assists this season, averaging 2.67 goals per game with 16.8 shots a game.
Freshman Layla Sirdah paces the Hoosiers with 20 points on the year including a team-high seven goals and six assists. Aery Snead, Elle Britt and Kennedy Neighbors have all recorded three goals in 2024.
• 20 different Hoosiers have scored and/or recorded an assist this season.
• Senior goalkeeper and reigning Big Ten goalie of the year Jamie Gerstenberg has six victories and four shutouts on the season. In her career, Gerstenberg has started in 61 matches, tallied 29 shutouts and made 172 saves.

• IU ranks second in goals (27) and tied third in assists (25).
• Sirdah is tied for second in assists (6) and fifth in points (20) this season.
