Men Finish 6th, Women 13th at 2024 Big Ten Cross Country Championships

SAVOY, Ill. – The Indiana cross country teams finished sixth (men) and 13th (women) at the 2024 Big Ten Cross Country Championships on Friday morning at the University of Illinois Orange and Blue Golf Course.
The men's sixth-place finish was highlighted by a pair of Second Team All-Big Ten performances from junior Martin Segurola (11th, 23:00.3) and graduate student Skylar Stidam (12th, 23:01.4).
The Hoosiers rounded out the scoring with six lifetime bests, led by Junior Abe Eckman who finished 36th in 23:27.1
Freshman Tony Provenzano finished 59th in 23:47.8. Nolan Satterfield (78th, 24:04.9), Nate Killeen (95th, 24:22.8), Brayden Henkle (106th, 24:27.0) and Aaron Lord (111th, 24:31.5) all ran lifetime bests in the 8k championship race.
Mariah Wehrle led the Hoosiers across the finish in 29th place with a lifetime best of 20:01.6. Sophomore Katelyn Winton (86th, 20:49.8) and Tori Schmidt (92nd, 20:53.1) followed Wehrle across the finish with two more personal best times.
Freshmen Joey Rastrelli (119th, 21:11.8), Maddie Rocchio (148th, 21:38.4) and Michaela Quinn (149th, 21:39.6) ran their first Big Ten race, each leaving the day with a new personal best record.
