
IUXC to Compete at NCAA Great Lakes Regional

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana men's and women's cross country teams prepare for the NCAA Great Lakes Regionals. The Greater Cleveland Sports Commission and the Mid-American Conference will host the meet in at the Silver Creek Metro Park in Norton, Ohio, on Friday morning.

Women's 6k – 11:00 a.m.
Men's 10k – 12:00 p.m.
PARTICIPATING TEAMS
Indiana will race against 15 teams in the Great Lakes region.
The women are ranked eighth in the region and are set to compete against nationally ranked teams in No. 6 Notre Dame, No. 14 Wisconsin and No. 29 Michigan State at regionals.
The men's squad will face the top competitor in the region with No. 9 nationally ranked Wisconsin who won back-to-back Big Ten titles. They will also face in-state competitor in No. 19 Notre Dame and No. 12 Butler who is ranked second and third in the region. Michigan State rounds out the ranked teams at No. 27 and is fourth in the region.

Men's 10k: Skylar Stidam, Martin Segurola, Abe Eckman, Dylon Nalley, Tony Provenzano, Nolan Satterfield, Aaron Lord and Brayden Henkle.
Women's 6k: Mariah Wehrle, Lily Myers, Claire Overfelt, Tori Schmidt, Elka McFarland, Emma Everhart-Deckard, Joey Rastrelli and Katelyn Winton.
BIG TEN RECAP
Martin Segurola and Skylar Stidam earned Second Team All-Big Ten honors after finishing 11th and 12th at the Big Ten Championships.
Mariah Wehrle led the women across the finish with a lifetime best time of 20:01.6 to finish 26th in the conference.
